STAAD RCDC is a reinforced concrete design and detailing application used by structural engineers to convert structural analysis results into constructible designs. It reads member forces and geometry—typically from STAAD.Pro—and automates code-compliant design of beams, columns, slabs, shear walls, footings, and pile caps. The software optimizes reinforcement, checks strength and serviceability, applies seismic and ductility detailing where required, and generates transparent calculation reports, bar bending schedules, quantities, and drawing-ready reinforcement plans and sections. It supports a range of regional and international design codes and enables iterative workflows to refine member sizes and rebar layouts. By integrating design and detailing, STAAD RCDC helps reduce manual drafting effort, minimize errors, and accelerate delivery of reinforced concrete documentation.
